Weve got a baby due in the next couple of days but are really struggling with names, and we dont know if its a boy or girl so need to think of both. Have looked at numerous books with no luck. We have got a list of about 6 boys and 6 girls names that we think are ok but none of them are really jumping out at us, and that doesnt feel right. It needs to go with Murphy our surname, and also with Flynn our little boys name. Lets hear your suggestions!
I've always liked the name Sophie for a girl. Sophie Murphy. That sounds good. Our next baby is due on 8 January. If it's a girl, Sophie will be her name. We're stumped for a boy's name though. But 8 January is Elvis Presley's brithday. Elvis would be a great name but my wife won't have it at all. Can't think why. Our first son is called Maxie. Maxie Murphy. That sounds good too. So, Sophie for a girl, Maxie for a boy.
Problem is my wifes a teacher, so i can think of lots of good names but she'll say - no way, i had one of them, he/she was a little.......!
Good luck with the baby anyway, what ever you call it when he or she gets to a teenager they will go "i dont like myyyy name why did you call me this" ???
Calum Murphy sounds good. I love Calum for a boys name. I like Odille or Olivia for a girl. You could just say 'what the heck' and pull names out of a hat? or make it double-barrelled and have Camper Van-Murphy
