Awning at last

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by bertie78, Apr 29, 2013.

  1. We finally managed to pick up an awning and it was delivered today.... Quickly rushed home from work to put it up in the garden while its dry. Really pleased as its in fab condition just a few pole springs snapped .... The kids can't wait to get away and use it. 5. Nice one. I know they can be a faff but they are invaluable extra space. Lets be honest people must have been a lot smaller in the 70's with their Bays! Hahah

  6. What make/model is it? I like the porch on that. Easy to put up? Mines a bit small and I was looking at kyham motordome as I dont like the bendy fibreglass poles on mine either never manage to get them even

  7. Found it on eBay but not listed in the awning section... Came with the inner tent/ bedroom too.
It's not that big to be honest 3 x 3 approx but nice and high, yes a bit of a faff but we'll get the hang of putting it up. The Kyham's look great but out of my price range.
It's an Outwell awning like the mountain road, with a zip in groundsheet and best of all it's sage green so it goes with the van!

  8. Very nice bertie78 top find. I put mine up for the first time last week but got mine from ahem. prototype bay as I wanted a royal traveller awning.

NICE find all the same and good luck with it.
