Not sure if you checked this bit @Faust . Looks suspect to me tbh! It’s the inside of the control box on the flaps. This is the original one. I have a replacement one on the other side which doesn’t have this ( which kind of answers my question possibly!)
That does look like asbestos. My replacements don’t have that. Found what also appears to be asbestos washers in the plastics as well.
I can only assume it is ...If they have used it in the heat system in collars and H/E then more than likely . I have given up with the whole of the T2 heat system and filleted it all out . It's poisonous it stinks and it's not very efficient .
