Anyone know how to remove these?

  1. Cups on ends of beam tubes can these be removed? So I can access needle bearing.

    Cheers for any help.

  2. You don't need to remove them.
    What you need is a slide bearing puller.
    Do a google image search.

  3. They should just knock off with a small tap of a mallet?
     
  4. Those outer cups are welded on to the axle. They are there to retain the torsion arm & to stop grease oozing out. I think.
     
  5. Oh, so the Needle bearing should come out without removing the cups?

    It's just it looked like the Ridge of the cup stops the bearing coming past.
