Anyone going to Run to The Sun?

Hi folks,

I'm off to the Run To The Sun festival with my brother on the Jubilee weekend. This will be my first ever festival taking the bus. Its taken a while, but got the bus up to a point where she can be used for camping!

Has anyone been to this festival before, what should I expect, is there any essentials I need to take with me? Anyone going this year?

There's a cruise starting in my home town of Reading as well, so am really excited to be part of it.

 

Lots & lots of traffic because:

1) It is in Cornwall
2) It is 1/2 term week as well.

Having said that, we are off to Cornwall for that week! So let the sun be out ... please!!!

 

Minichavcity? Haha. Well, I'll be off down there tomorrow morning with my brother for my first festival in the bus ever. It seems to be very dance/drum-and-bass orientated musically (which we like) so hopefully It'll be a good one. Looking forward to the slow cruise down there with some tunes blasting through the bus

 

With the traffic it will be slow lol

 

Won't mind if the sun's out!

 

We are in Reading travelodge as we speak awaiting the off in the morning

 

if your staying at Trevelgue leave your VW at home and take a saxo you will feel more at home

Trevelgue is a booze, music and sick fest with little security as long as you have paid up and have a wrist band aimed at drunken chavs that like dance music

most VW people stay away from Trevelgue and find another camp site in the area and just pop into the show on sunday

 

We are going down and staying in centre of Newquay as we're taking the golf

 

I used to go every year but I stopped going years ago due to the chavs, but they weren't called chavs back then, just called scrotes!
Trevelgue was a dump, the camping field was on the side of a hill, the chavs had car stereos on full blast all night so never stayed there again but went to other sites instead.
The show was getting less and less vw and more max power but that was 18 yrs ago or more

I assume you are referring to my OCD tendencies! My brother makes the mess and Im the clean freak who tidies up after him!

 

who did the breakfast rolls, bloody hell can I order one please!

 

That'll be my brother, he's a proffesional chef. He cooks, i wash... good deal I think!
