  1. i bet a coffee machine and other catering equipment took a lot of the budget

  2. I want to know how much he has spent on his caravan project......I reckon its loads!

The whole premise about the programme is thinking outside the box and turning small spaces into liveable solutions. I didn't realise some of us with little camper vans would be so blinkered to the brilliant solutions this show has to offer.

Perhaps you could ask him Ricky to come up with a solution to your spare wheel.

what i will say though is that bloke who made that one room be multi functunal with the bed under the patio etc and all the stuff hidden away was ace.

  9. that was very well thought out

  11. That place in Barcelona was brilliant, the bed and storage under the balcony was genius. He's right what he said about if we thought like that for our houses we could have all manner of things. I liked the wooden hut in the woods in the one a few weeks back. I did have a look online at how much woods cost seems about £6,000 per acre on average.

  12. Blimey i couldn't sleep in his caravan. If the kids weren't claustrophobic before the soon will be!!

How can anyone not be amazed by this mans vision on small spaces?? Or other peoples in the programme?

I thought that caravan of his was ruddy amazing. The outside kitchen was brilliant and sort of what concept I'd have if I had a twin slider. It sort of makes me want to ditch my bus for one now just so l can have a go :) And the bath outside was "wow" who wouldn't?? And before you all go "blah blah blah the kids" like he's some nonce, no children were present when he was taking that bath.

I'm dragging my sorry arsed bus to the workshop for a rethink.

  14. It has been an interesting series in the same vein as Kevin McClouds cabin, although give me Kevin's designs and comments any day. It's always the people that are taking on the projects that wind me up.

Why is it they every project was by someone who had never done anything like this before, they had no experience  and then all the designer/builder types were all super duper master craftsmen  ?

But then you're right everything was annoyingly "absolutely amazing"

I wonder where they got the title from ;D ?

  15. Tuesday wildchild

    Tuesday wildchild I'm a circle!

  16. 300mm between the edge of the sink and a socket

if you have sockets in the same room as a bath they must be more than 3m away

  17. I've loved this programme, despite the presenter being a little irritating - such great ideas (though some very costly!). I think the regs do still apply - hence the bath not being plumbed in and having to be wheeled outside for use.
