Anti-theft

  1. Can anyone recommend a good steering wheel anti-theft device to fit a standard 18inch wheel.it appears that standard disk locks don't go big enough?

    Stop-lock or Stop-lock pro fit.
Not sure if they're any good but as a visual deterrent either will be fine.

  3. Visual is always a good start, the problem is theres a lot of pros out there that will drag ur bus onto a low loader, my security device is a ford focus in front;)

  4. Wife gave me a stop lock pulsar for xmas. loose fit on steering wheel and not long enough to catch on anything in cab. you could drive with it still locked on wheel, so not realy much use. I have gone back to my 20 year old original crook lock.not good i know but a bit of a deterant. More hassle to carry and fit but a decent wheel clamp might slow the pond life thieves down.

  5. My security device is that yellow thing in front of the garage.

Mine is a pair of locked 8' palisade gates, a locked garage with no external hardware and a crook-lock. Works for me.

mine is a non working engine ;D
and living the nice side of town.

  8. Conversely, when I moved to the 'nice' part of the city my insurance rocketed.

  9. Park my freelander in behind it, and have a wheel lock that you would have to be a size 0 to be able to drive it without being whacked in the belly/ribs... Would ideally want a garage but it won't fit in mine :( and can't afford to hire one...grrr
