Hi just bought our 79 Devon 3 weeks ago and still finding all the bits I missed. Based near Dartford N/W Kent, into cars all my life but never had a "Bus" before. Trashed the white badge for a chrome one and some nice clear indicators and then realised I really should sort out the disco going on at the back . Next on the list I think is fuel pipes, gear linkage and sort out the annoying flat spot. I cancelled all leave for the foreseeable future now and see everything through VW coloured spectacles. Well and truly hooked and armed and ready with a list of "stoopid" questions.

Greetings from Medway! PS: The disco at the back is most likely caused by a bad earth connection. Check the brown wires which come from the light clusters and connect to adjacent tabs on the metalwork inside the engine bay.

What a nice welcome Yes S1mon and Madpad the day after we picked her up I waltzed into Coolair and set up account think I got a years worth of questions into a 10 minute shopping spree. Thanks Marc, had all the rear lights out and in bits last weekend alloy wheel cleaner seems to work well with corrosion on the terminals (and also your finger tips).
