Hi everyone. After years of yearning we have bitten the bullet and taken the plunge into the world of VW Campers. We recently acquired "Bertie", a 1975 Devon pop top. I have ordered my Haynes Manual and am putting together an essential spares kit as per recommendations from those in the know. I suspect this whole new adventure is going to be a steep learning curve and I will no doubt have many questions for you all. I will post some photos once I have worked it all out. Welcome along - yes you are right a steep learning curve ahead and also a lot of fun, maybe some heartache but Bertie will become one of the family, in every sense. Look forward to your pics - I think there is a 'how to' thread on here but essentially you need a photo host site (photobucket or similar) where you upload your pics, copy the ing code for bulletin boards / forums and paste that into your post on here and voila - pictures
