Another indicator issue

Left hand indicator is working fine. Right hand side is not - the light on the dash goes on but the ignition light flickers as well - can hear some clicking which sounds like a relay maybe ?

Any thought please?

 

Last time Bern all I did was twiddle your fuses and it worked, It was'nt blown just a bad contact maybe it's that again

 

I tried the fuse twiddle Neale - that was the rear light though last time

 

I'm guessing a dud relay would affect both indicators?

 

Try checking the bulb holder and wiring connections.

 

Will look at the weekend. Dark now, raining and blowing a gale. Still, garage plans have gone in to the council at least

 

Yep if it flashes between another bulb It is 99% an earth issue. Normally clean the wire from the indicator to where it connects with the body and clean every joint along the way

 

Earth at the back Bern, it's on a spade just inside the engine hatch - there's one each side.
I forgot to attach one of these and the indicator lights flashed front and back along with front and back sidelights and the instrument panel - all at double speed!
