Anyone know what is the proper orientation for the thing, I have seen them on bulge up, down, slots facing front , back , side?

i think mine is faceing down into the engine then the flat side is pointing to the right , not sure if it matters to much but also i got fed up of haveing to take the stand of while the engine is in the bay as it has the studs into the block for the ped to sit on the fix down with the nuts . so ive took these out and put 13mm bolts in there insted so i can unbolt it when i want and take the ped strait out the way. not that this has anything to do with the gasket but yeah lol
