Following on from another thread, it looks like I may have an odd alternator cover on my 78. I have attached a couple of photos, one before it was cleaned etc and one as it is now installed. I've also attached a photo shared on the other thread of what shoukd be the early and late covers. Mine is similar but not quite. Does anybody recognise my part and should I be bothered by this not being quite right for airflow...I don't think I am. PS the oval cover for the bolt is on order.
