Not sure if this will be any good to any one (don't know if they can be recon'd???) but happy to give it away if so Alternator from my 1600 - lots of play, bolt on front pulley very loose...may have been responsible to shredding my fan belt to pieces and killing my engine, so I am not joking in the slightest when I say it is broken! Will take pics tomorrow morning if needed. Pick up from Leeds or Halifax (or Tekenders) or can be posted Z
Weigh then in, you'd be pleasantly surprised. Oh, you can't, the law changed, I think you have to be a business and open an account with the scrappy or somesuch nonsense.
I've got a broken one too, got shorted out (remember to take watch off when poking about in engine bay) Replaced mine with a 70A one from JK, Since I am not sure about the quality of these I really should get my old one rebuilt and keep it as a spare.
