Air Shoxs

  1. Can anyone help me with a small problem - Gladys has Monroe are shoxs fitted and a nice big compressor and tank fitted -
The shoxs are piped direct no leaks but i can not get any lift from them ????

  2. The Check valve ?

  3. dosnt have any valves at the mo i have a paddle valve but its not hooked up - will i need an inline one way valve to stop air bleed back to the tank

  4. Depends where the presure release valve is ..? Probably on the compressor
Is there a tire type valve you can check the air pressure ,with a guage ?
Just because the motors running/ pumping doesent mean its making pressure ...
Could be bad rubber diaphram in the pump.just a thought..
Probably not thus but .Get a soapy spray bottle if you hear leaks ...
Check the oring going into the shoxs .lines Normally two are in there
Id ditch them , im simplistic with older vehicles and mostly with these busses . Theres always something to fix
And these shoxs needlessly take away from other repairs you should/could or possibly need to do...gas shocks will ride and handle so much better . Depending if your lift specs might be an issue without them , im sure someone wont agree with me...(anyone?)
Youll save that much in gasoline draging that system around in a years time if its a daily driver,,even if its 20 lbs . Weight ,
