I'm getting to the end of the welding work on my '76 westy and I'm starting to think about sanding and preparing for paint. So what's the easiest/best way to get to the in side of the air intakes at the rear? (I'm Going for a colour change) Feel free to move this if its not the right section.
I welded a rotary wire brush to a steel rod and spun the lot with an electric drill. It cleaned up the rust and flaking paint easily. I brushed on the new paint with a paintbrush on a stick. I would be fairly simple to spray it in as well.
