purchased an aftermarket push rod tube from GFS, it"s made in tiawan, is spring mounted and cost approx £7, anyone used them and are pleased with their purchase /fitting/use? ta for any advice.
We serviced engines with these on and they seem to do the job. I only worry about the longevity of them.
I've used one for 50000 miles and it seems OK. There's a very slight leak but acceptable compared with a head-off fix.
