Aarrrggghhh. Weather!!

I've just looked out the window, and we have weather up on this here hill too.

 

Slight flooding here. It is somewhat unusual to have steam coming through the heat vents on the dash

 

Nooooooooooooooooooo.......it's started snowing here

Glad I got the wipers working yesterday as certainly needed them today in East Sussex...it's p*****g down here and has been all day

 

If your camper works and you've got a day off you should go out in it, it's only rain, (or snow).

Well, I have now (finally!!) managed to get all 3 nuts off the gearbox, as well as that tricky bolt above the clutch cable. All electrics are disconnected. The servo pipe is disconnected, thanks to a tip about pouring hot water over it, and the oil filter bracket is disconnected. The engine is only still in place because of the engine support bar, and I haven't disconnected the fuel yet. It's taken me since yesterday afternoon to get this far. If I were a VW mechanic for a living, I'd starve to death!!

Maybe I'll have a go at getting the engine out one night this week - after all, the camper isn't going anywhere now.
