I got rust, a good 5cm bubble of rust on the NSF arch
I am devastated

yeah i found one of them the other day, and made the mistake of poking it...
which coincidentally, was just around the time half my inner arch fell off...

moral of the story, dont prod stuff, your curiosity will be your untimely demise..

 

Never ever ever prod at anything that looks rusty unless you are prepared to see it through the worst case scenario of what might be underneath. It's why I'm leaving my driver's side lower rear quarter well alone until winter when I have the time to explore the rust properly.

 

Break it for parts, old vans aren't worth fixing

 

haha yeah, i knew i shouldnt even before i did.. had to do something about it for the MOT though, so thought i might aswell do it all.
found most of it was some sort of black filler that been boshed in there by a fool..
