Aaaaaarghhh (I need some hugs)

Sorry but I need a rant!
We are supposed to leave for Holland on Friday for our 'new life'! On Monday (I know this sounds like I'm a wet weekend) my gorgeous staffie, Wrigley had a hemmorhage and collapsed. He's made it through so far and is hospitalised in IC, on a drip and still hemmorhaging but out of danger. We had cancelled our pet insurance ready for the pending move but fortunately it doesn't run out until the 13th of this month (the bill is already over £1000)! On Tuesday after being at the hospital with the dog, we came home to find all our fencing vandalised (with new tenants due in on Saturday) - police round, no joy. Hubby has spent all day today trying to repair fences and gates - still not finished. Have to finish it tomorrow. We had our VHF radio exams booked for today in Southampton - paid for - wasted, couldn't go. Eurotunnel booked for Friday - can't go. Tenants move in Saturday and we have to move out. (where to at the moment is anyone's guess). And to cap it all the washing machine broke.
There... I feel better now! :-[

@Tiny - I know you do a lot with doglets - have you heard of HGE? That's what Wrigley has been diagnosed with. I'd never heard of it before.

 

Google says GastroEnteritis but £1k sounds a lot for that! Hope Wrigley's ok.

 

awww that's really awful... hope he gets better poor baby... i can't say i've ever come across that but doesn't sound pleasant... just read it could be linked to stress(nothing concrete)... but you haven't even moved yet have you... :-

we lost 2 dogs this year in the kennels and it literally happened over night, did lots of tests, quarantined the kennels e.t.c and we found absolutely nothing, what seemed to be healthy dogs just went downhill so fast... thing is with dogs they can't tell you how they're feeling so until they're really poorly we don't know...

i really hope he gets better!! Fingers crossed for him xxx
