    He was knocked off his bike on the way to work yesterday by a chap in a Audi A6 while negotiating an island. No fault of BG's and is now in hospital after a op on his badly broken wrist and broken foot.

    Get well soon Ewan. :)

    Sorry to hear BG is injured -hope he recovers quickly - which is what put me off cycling round our country lanes - a friend's son was killed.

    Get well soon Ewan. There are some pretty poor drivers out there. Audis seem to be amongst the worst.

    It was actually around 7:40 on Tuesday, yes I can't believe it myself but I've been in hospital 3 nights so far with another one ahead, they might let me out tomorrow just in time for the weather to turn bad again.

    It was a good example of why you should always make sure you LOOK before you pull out onto a roundabout, rather than just pulling out and wrecking my bike and me. :(
