"a few of my favourite things"

As we have another thread running about pet hates, it's time to celebrate a few of our favourite things.....no not Julie Andrews, but it's up to you.

Mine today is home made pizza and proper ice-cream

 

Having a fully functioning umbrella when it looked like rain, and then a little later started fizzing it down.

 

Scrambled eggs on white toast, quite sloppy, with a splodge of HP sauce.

 

I do like raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens...............

 

Bramble jelly on granary bread lightly toasted with a layer of sweet blackberry's crushed with a knife on top ...or bramble jelly on toast with crunchy peanut butter .

 

Very strong coffee with cream and demerara sugar.

 

The smell of Napalm first thing in the morning.
Smells like victory, you know…

 

That reminded me...the smell on opening a packet of real coffee, sometimes better than drinking it

 

That reminded me - a really good curry, nice and hot.

 

I think you should start one....

Yes yes yes, opening a brand new jar of coffee and taking the first whiff as soon as the foil is off.

Not really the same though is it? Smells nice enough and vaguely like coffee, I'll give you that but coffee it ain't.
