A few more SA Buses

We maybe talking aswell TBR - the missus wants a bay or a Splitty
Not worried about the SA heritage - this is where my Bay was originally registered.!!

 

September and you're DEAD RIGHT, they'll rip you off as soon as look at you, it's part of their way of life.
I'm lucky having my son-in-law there to bargain with/threaten importers/police/dealers etc etc. Even the Police have to be bribed to complete the SA documentation.
There was a case of a lorry being stopped because 'smoke' was coming out of the back, when the police stopped it, the smoke was in fact paint fumes, these guys were stealing cars, repainting them in the truck whilst on the way to the dock and exporting them.

 

Splitties come in two types, original (and expensive) and later "Fleetline" which have a Splitty face but are in fact Bay underneath and much cheaper. As a working Bus these are streets ahead but as an investment they're not.
Horses for courses I guess.
