A challenge from our 10 year old.............

My adorable 10 year old has asked if you kind peeps can post up pictures of the 'techyist' bayscreen ................

This comes on the back of me showing him the pictures from the green twinslider thread..........

What he means ( and me as I can not spell what he asked) is a Bay with lots of techno and/or lots of things that change into other things , he loves the idea of rock and roll beds, units that swing out and so forth, tables that are hidden and flip out , hope that is as clear as mud..............

He wants to be an inventor when he grows up - believe me he is trying my back garden is covered in string like a spiders web , as he is inventing a machine to make feeding the chickens easier

 

I met a guy who owned an ex Sony demo bay, No door mirrors, instead it had cameras and tv screens in the doors, loads of Stereo equipment inside so only room for two passengers in the back, sunken lights and other gizmos, sorry I didn't get any pics of it now.

 

The guy said it was Sony, a matt black (edit:satin?) bay, very nice it was too.

 

@Barneyrubble he would love one of these, see some on Facebook from the lego vw club, as well ( not sets of course), they do bays as well , actually I would love one of these, but for the price I could buy something practical for the bus .

 

it appears having watched the other videos following that tomorrow if build a lego vw bus day ....................I am at work phew ( I can avoid standing on lego)

I remember a sony bus bus for sale in black with all the gadgets you mentioned above plus game consoles built into the back with proper telly screens and recliners as well, this was three or four years ago, it was promoting their Xplod type stereo stuff. It had had a small fortune spent on it in panels paint etc. I think it had a large Xplod motif on the side or the roof or something. Was up for about six and a half I believe somewhere up around Liverpool. It came and went on E Bay for a while, I think it was becoming obsolete as a promo van and being shifted on.
