im paying 138.9 p for diesel . ok so thats the price but if i put in 1 ltr and give 139 p why cant i have my .1 p change its because there is no such thing so how come they can advertise at this price when you cant possibly pay that
It's like anything that ends in .9, or 99p, or anything ending in a 9. It's to create the illusion that something is cheaper than it actually is, because in many people's minds they disregard the .9 or the .99 and it registers in their brain as the price without the .9 on the end. Old marketing trick.
