So grab while can. 1978 T2 panel van, I brought this a few months back and due to circumstances I need to sell, I have completed the welding underneath so she is solid. The engine is on 148'000 but runs like a dream no issues at all, starts first time with no issues. I have lots of receipts from previous owner for engine work,. Just kampers mats inside the cab. The interior is a blank canvas and waiting for you to put your spin on it. it had new brakes all round. There is a full width wooden bed. Upgraded stero and sub with extra speakers. The body work is in good condition there is a couple of light rust marks. There are 2 small holes in the floor which I have not got round to sorting but wild be a 10 min job. I recently removed the old head lining that was in there as it was in poor condition. A new one was being fitted beginning of feb. all in all the outside and underneath is great. It just need the inside sorting out. I have attached a picture of the side door, the previous owner has told me that the door was dropped, I have looked at getting the lower portion of the door panel replaced, the inside of the door is still very strong, no rust and is straight. I have lots of recipts from the previous owner for engine work MOT June 2013 I have a list of stuff that I also have that has not been fitted listed below. Full empi single exhaust system, wooden 17" steering wheel and boss, 1/3 and 2/3rd bench seats, leisure battery, split charging system, rear panel and sliding door trim panels not fitted. And I'm sure I missed some other bits. Accelarator pedal kit, empi gear shifter, JK All weather cover. riemo, tourmobil 6 awning, DVD Player This is a great bus and will be gutted to see it go.
