  1. Hi All,

I am after a dash brake dual circuit warning light unit as mine does not work !! :(

  2. Mine neither Steve though I think it is my wiring because it was working. Lens is also knackered. If you find two, let me know.

  3. Will do just been through all my wiring and my unit will only light up with the handbrake not from the master cylinder switches.
I do have a good push to test unit if that helps anyone ?

  4. Any ideas anyone ??

thats right it only working from the handbrake! To illuminate it, the fluid needs to have caused a brake failure (pressure loss?) I guess if its not lighting up, its a good thing ;D

  6. My understanding is the handbrake is off with the ignition on warning light should be on until the engine has been started !!? I think the warning light has two circuits within it and when i have tested it only lights up through the handbrake side. So i think it is knackered and am after another :)

nope the warning light goes off when h/brake is off, then it works on a pressure loss theory, loss of pressure (as in fluid drained out) then it will light up!

anyway, the bulb holders/lenses, dunno where to source from but I could do with a lense myself

I just found one (4 terminal) in back of someones van I'm reassembling. I hope it works, but should I chuck it if i doesn't?
