hi this is my first aircooled vw its a us late bay camper from 1975 with type4 1800 engine how i get it new front axle and dropped spindle on the cosmics got now the engine out for a check up have some problems with the valves adjustment im not into engines so let somebody check it that now well aircooled engines it drives good so hopes its not that bad
thx my valve problem i found going to repaint the engine room maybe now everything is out its the perfect time for it gearbox need some work too
don't have a picture from the front can't take one now i'm working on the engine have bad news the heads are bad
Loving your Riviera... I'm also an owner (http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=47136) and I get a real kick out of seeing another as there aren't too many about. Really like the colour and stripes on yours. I'm still searching for a correct Riviera sink unit and wardrobe... got Westfalia jobs in for the moment (it might be a long moment as I cannot find any more Riviera furniture). Please keep updating your thread, lovely bus and I have a real interest in seeing how it comes together.

time for some up-dates gearbox cleaned( will be painted tomorrow) my new heads (Original Porsche 1700 heads rebuilt to fit my) they have a breatherpipe so needed this now i'm overhere ow yes i found out when working on the engine i've got a GE 2.0 hydraulic engine on my "Original 1.8 EG cooling house" i Always trought it was a 1800 so its not the Original engine anymore now i'm waithing for some new hydraulic cam followers my got 4 bad from all 8th

time for some new up-dates cleaned the rear back and rear inner wheel fenders rear chassis notch new batt tray and no dents and some rust anymore in the rear fresh paint
the engine almost ready to go in just need some little parts its the first time i ever did so much engine work hope its turns well ;p
