'74 Italian import panel van

  1. Well this is my bus. It's a '74 Italian import panel van. I brought her 2 years ago and love her to bits. I think she was imported around '07 and I'm the third owner in this country (first being the importer who sold it straight on). She is a very very straight van. Possibly one of the best I've ever seen. The chassis has never bin welded and since stripping the paint back I fount the body has had 3 bits of welding. Not bad in my opinion. Her colour is "light grey" which I'm sticking to when she's painted. Inside is pretty blank at the moment. Some Racaro seats in the front (which I hope to find an original bench) and a rear bench in the back which I will be replacing with a rock and roll bed. Suspension wise she has an adjustable beam and shortened shocks. I hope to get some lowered spindles too. Here a couple of pics of her when I brought her in 2010.
