As you suggested I've moved the earth tab over to the other plate at the top... Will finish it off oneway or other once I've sourced another bulb holder.
I may have a spare you can have for nowt, if you need one? Are they the black twist-in jobs? Believe you can actually buy them new as well.
Nope. Think the holders take 2.3mm spades. I'll chuck a couple of those in. Some bulbholders had the wires spot-welded on, so they would need to come off.
Tada…live jumper has to be so carefully placed and quite long as it has the 2 heater levers inside it!! There was definitely a 'fook the levers' moment there...
Aye if you can, I managed to cut up my big connector and reform it ok. I pulled a main light bulb holder to try the pair of reds out.
I won't forget . May find your LEDs are to bright if they do spring to life. Could put an extra limiting resistor in series with the whole lot...if you can be bothered...
The dimmer knocks them down a touch...to be honest I woldnt know where to start looking for a suitable resistor....I've got warm LED lights in the main console. EDIT: found this...
If they do turn out too bright, best approach would be to get a low-ish value potentimeter/variable resistor (maybe in the hundreds of ohms range) in series with the LEDs and tweak it at night to your liking. Then measure the resistance if the pot and replace it with a fixed resistor. If you can be bothered ...
