Also fitted my two new rear wheels and tyres. mytyres messed up and front lower profile tyres are missing in action at the moment, but hopefully will get them this week. Given me done incentive now for hours on end of sanding

 

Finally got my new wheels and tyres on today. 185/60/15 front, 195/65/15 rear Continental van spec winter tyres. Happy with the look! Going to now finish and prime my bumpers with the 911 indicators in and refit, making the mist of the sunshine.

FINALLY got the balls to pull the windscreen out and see what horrors lurked behind it... I knew it would need work , but to be honest I am happy with that is it is the best I could have hoped for. At least the dash board is OK and with a screen repair kit I can weld in myself it should be ok.

 

These arrived in the post today, this is the first serious bit of welding and repair I am attempting. ( other than unimportant stuff you cannot see !! ) so time to get stuck in. I have read so many restoration books if should be a doddle......

Are you still around this way? To be honest now seen many Buses around here, however there is a stunning Split about but I don't know the guyguy
