Huge amount of work by someone which i respect.. .. but i really don't get it. Front bus has a cab but no space for camping. Rear has camping space but no cab space. What do you gain over just a regular bus? ok rear section you have a boot (no engine) and some storage at the front, but don't brake too hard or your bags will come flying through the front windows. Only two seats in the tow vehicle so i couldnt' take the family camping in this.. Seems like a lot of effort for not much gain. Regular bus towing a puck would give you more surely?
Couldn’t sell it so he’s raffling it. I think it was at dubfreeze a couple of years ago, or somewhere I’ve been!
It does seem like the sort of project that got done because somebody could. And then they looked at it and said, “Oh…..”
On a side note… how do these competitions work? They are always offering top spec built t6’s, cool motorbikes etc, so are they buying said vehicles, or offering to raffle them for the vendor, and take a cut? Anyone know?
I think they offer the owners a cut of the takings. The guy who was on the TV programme with Ben Fogle put his massive truck camper up for a week or so after the programme aired - what a coincidence eh? Anyway, no one seems to have a spare £100k so I think he will be going down the raffle route soon.
