3D printing bus parts

    There was two sets on the old Parts emporium geezer from Bedfordshire ...the undertins .
    To be honest you can make them up out of aluminium ...not a difficult shape to make up .
    Lent an undertin to a mate of mine and was quite impressed with his effort .

    Some of the most expensive 3D printers use UV cured resin. Costs even more than filament extrusion ( a flower pot would be in the region of £500 materials per item) looks beautiful and goes brittle in a year.

    Some mileage in lost wax casting using 3 D printed parts as wax. Or sand casting using 3d printed as a pattern.

    Not sure if anyone has watched “Savage Builds”? It’s Adam Savage from Mythbusters carrying out some impressive fabrication.

    The first episode sees them make an Iron Man suit. Most of the parts were 3D printed from titanium which I didn’t even know was possible. The stuff was bullet proof!

    Titanium tinware anyone?
