36 -40 PTDSI carbs

    What's the difference between these and the 32-34 ones fitted to a type 4 engine ( other than the obvious numbers stamped on the castings?
    I mean PDSIT !

    40 PDSITs were used on the Type 4 engines in 914s, I assume the number refers to the diameter of the Venturi.
