I have some 2K left in the can from me last mini resto, I have had it made up by the local body shop into rattle cans, I must say I have found the results to be brilliant, I have seen results out of the gun worse, as long as you dont drain em and save the last dregs for out of sight or into the cap for a brush touch up to prevent splatter I found it to be fine, the adjustable nozzles are a million miles away from the motormania type offerings.

  2. Yes, you can make a reasonable job, I get colour matched cans made up by a local-ish paint shop, but I have found its very slow to dry and cure properly.

  3. If the can doesn’t have a separate button to press to release the activator then it’s not 2k

  4. It is, as far as I understand it, but it has a converter added to make it back into air drying.

  5. The 2k cans I’ve had from Autopaints have worked really well.

You can get either air drying 2K, or normal chemical hardening 2K in cans, but obviously the chemical ones need to be used within a day or so, or they set in the tin.

They say 24hrs at me local paint shop but I have used them 5 days later
