2/3 Passenger seat bulkhead mounting?

  1. Evening! I have in my possession a 2/3 front passenger(s) seat. The bulkhead fitting isn’t what I was expecting to see....

Rather than the usual ‘hooks’ there are these. They are OG and not someone’s bodge. I’ve searched online to see if I can see what they are supposed to mount onto/into. Can anyone shed any light? Cheers! 91D406B2-A5C4-487E-BCFD-19158A87324F.jpeg

Seat came out of a ‘69 pickup.

I think that’s a late seat, I’ll see if I have any pictures of how they fit

  3. @davidoft I was told they were ‘69 and the upholstery matches my 72 pattern. I can’t find anything online showing any other way of fitting them to the bulkhead other than the ‘lift and hook’ method. Drawing a blank so far! Cheers for looking on my behalf!

  4. Looks like they're held down to u-shaped brackets screwed to the floor?

  5. The photo is of the backrest. The squab is held in position using regular bay mounts.

The mountings on the back seem very high - above the height of the top of the bulkhead? The regular ‘hooks’ are mounted on a strip of metal lower down which these days don’t have (the strip nor the hooks!)
