  1. Hello folks,
My name is neil johns and I have crossed the line from owning a so42 1967 to a 1978 Berlin . She's lovely and the family are very happy. BUT! I need help on finding rosewood Formica to replace the old cracked units . Or, have any of you go any tips on overcoming these worn but lovely units. Also I need the black piping tha goes around the units. Can this be bought in the UK?

    Thanks Neil Johns

There you go chap. I've not found the K trim anywhere else after spending hours flicking around the web.
As @davidoft says, the T trim knock in edging is widely available.

Check out NLAVW as well coz they reckon they may have the K trim in stock for Stanford Hall..??

The exact Berlin laminate is very hard to source. Apparently Formica themselves did a match some years ago but this is now NLA or at least out of production. The best we can do is a close match from one of the proprietary laminate manufactures. Your choice on that score as to what looks good!!
Again, NLAVW are claiming a match which they are advertising on their website. Scott at @sjhjoinery is currently working hard to source a match for the Berlin so he's worth a shout.
Anything is possible I guess for the right price.
