Wally is a factory release 1978 camper who has spent all of his life in the hot California sunshine. This has helped keep him in tip top condition for 36 years. He arrived in the UK from the states in December 2013. Since then I have had the work done to get it UK road ready, MOT'D and registered. The exterior is painted in these super cool 1970s colours of orange over rich chocolate brown,which is as far as I can see is the original paint scheme. We have lowered the van moderately to give it a nice stance. All the chrome is still like new and up top there is a full length American roof rack that can carry all that extra adventuring equipment. Mechanically the 2 litre fuel injected engine pulls strong and is more than capable of keeping up with modern motorway traffic. All the brakes have been serviced and fitted with new parts thoughout. This bay stops on a dime. The gearbox shifts like butter with only a small whine when driving in the first three gears that gives away it's age. Inside is how you would want to find your original bay. The headliner is as new with no rips or tears. Two original high back seats keep you comfy whilst travelling and the original rubber cab mats keep the floors nice and clean. In the rear there is an American style full width seat that pulls out to make a full width camping bed which we have used and is really comfortable. The floor is fully carpeted to give a little luxury. This a ready to enjoy bus motd and taxed just waiting for a new owner to come and make some happy memories. Many more photos upon request.
