For sale is my 77 bay window which I was in the process of doing up.... unfortunately my car is on its last legs and the house roof needs replacing. This is bad times and not an easy choice to make :- OK - she a Devon conversion with 2 bunks in the top. I have just purchased a new wooden full width rock and roll bed which is in place but needs fitting. Interior was very tired so has been ripped out leaving just the bed in the rear which need cushions. I have kept the old curtains to use as a template and they looked dirty and tiered. All the panel and door cards are only a year old so they are good to stay if you taste. The front seats are the original brown leather and in great condition. The Engine is a 2ltr which was restored 2 years ago by previous owners and has an EMPI exhaust and quick shift gear change. Runs lovely and sounds beaut. MOT has just expired which was going to be done along with the re-spray which was due to happen any time now but with money now tight and other stuff to buy, neither have happened. Taxed until end of Jan 13. Number plate starts with VWK which looks cool. I have just had black steal numbers plates made ready to go on after the spray. Also still boxed, new window rubbers for the whole van which again were going to be fitted when sprayed. This is a great blank canvas and I estimated spending another 1.5k to get her sprayed and MOT which is what the chap quoted me. 1 Jacking point needs straightening out which the spray guy was going to do. 4 good tyres. Looking for around the 5 ½ k I don’t have any idea how to get photos on here so please message me if you would like some photo’s sent by email. Thanks for reading
I know but I WANT one for summer childish strop coming up hahaha we're off to Cornwall again August and when we were there last year I said I wouldn't be going back again unless it was in my new bus, and that 'new bus' still hasn't materialised
Hiya.... Only just caught up with these as been in Scotland all week.. Feel a right dope as I put sold on the 9th April but it isn't cuz that was for a pair of earlybay doors I sold. I have decided to keep my bus and have been working flat out to get her back on the road for the summer.... She is in now for in for mot and passed, full spray being done now which should be back in two weeks. I hope u find a bus soon and one that is perfect for you. Cheers
