We have a 1974 type 2 bay, right hand drive, twin slider, the front has been badly repaired at some point, the original deformation panel had been removed and been replaced with a flush panel. On removing the windscreen we have found a lot of rot and it looks as though we may have to replace the whole front panel from the lower edge of the window down. We have been looking at panels on the various sites and would like to know if the front panel 4 part kit designed for the slightly earlier bay up to 1972 would fit? We are not concerned about keeping the deformation panel, as we are going to go for a unique look anyway, but we do need to be sure the panel will fit before we order it. Any advise or suggestions would be gratefully received, thanks in advance
Thats great thanks Zed, we have now ordered a front panel and found a lower panel that matches up, now on with the restro, wish us luck! lol
