Imported in 2013 from California where it was owned by a couple that had it from new, it only came on the market as the owner gave it up for a charity auction. The fuel pump failed on it so it was then stored in a barn for 10 years. The van is VERY original and has a full double bed in the roof with the original sink, cooker and fridge, it’s even still got the leather straps that hold the pop top down when roof is closed and complete with the original radio. Work carried out to get it back on the road: The original 1700 engine has had a full service with new fuel pump and new Empi twin carbs. Completely brand new Wolfsburg West pop top canvas has been fitted. This is a very honest van and the only things that would need to make this a perfect van would be to sort out a dent in the rear corner which you can see in the photos. Fit new seat covers as these are dirty, but you can get these for about £100 which will make it look perfect. This a fantastic van and is ready to drive away and enjoy the summer this year.
