It is with a heavy heart that I am having to list my 1974 Bay window. I only got hold of it within the year from a work colleague and had big plans of travelling around with my then girlfriend. Such is life, plans change and I no longer have the time to do the van justice and feel that someone else might get more from it than I am able to at the moment. It has been maintained well and although the previous owner had little mechanical knowledge she always paid for maintenance to be done properly and at reputable camper garages. I had the intension of learning as I went and although I have not learnt very much I will do my best to answer any of your questions. It is a 4 berth; pop top with bunks. reconditioned 1600 engine 2009 in good working condition. Since I have owned it I have had it fitted with a 12v leisure battery and charging relay, tap and pump for the sink, 12v charging plugs and some lights. It has loads of paperwork and history. There are some light rust spots but are mainly superficial. It is tax exempt and has a VW birth certificate. Im pretty sure the MOT is until April 17 but I can double check.
