Just returned from back-to-bare-metal bodywork renovation (gutters and sills mainly). Finished in Pastel White all over (VW Code L90D). It's a 1973 imported from South Africa in 2016. RHD Underside has not been undersealed so you can see exactly what you are getting. Everything completely visible internally also. Mechanically generally good - clutch seems like it needs attention, though This is a great really solid, clean, honest vehicle as a platform for whichever direction you intend to take it - camper, delivery vehicle, pop up gin bar? Happy to post more pictures as required
Looks like it could have had a compressor for air conditioning. Definitely the lugs there for some reason.
