1973 kombi indicator

Hello I am currently restoring a VW 73 kombi and I'm stuck on which indicator arm to buy.

You see the half moon cut out for the cables to go down, is there one the other side ?

I think you want neither of those switches you show,
73 - 74 had the paddle type I think !!!

 

the top one is 74 onwards, the bottom one is for a prototype. the 73 is no longer available so second hand or modify the top one to fit

The vw museum has NOS, but it will cost you £254-00 for both plus you still need the housings

 

Yes it has another half moon on the other side. So I need a paddle indicator? Not keen on £254! I will start the search thanks very much for the advice.
