WANTED 1973 auto gear shift handle / switch

For 1973 1700 auto. Cheers

 

Think the phrase you'll be lucky is on this one. What's wrong with yours? It's the same as mine I had to repair it.

 

The lift up button underneath the T has broken. .. using a 4 " wood screw at moment! thinking I'll fabricate a metal one

 

BTW I was offered the side button later selector if that's what yours is like

 

I have the entire later mech 73 (003 74 model year)from floor to T handle if your desperate and it would fit?

 

Mines the same as yours, I drilled through and used a barrel split pin and glue. Seems to be holding so far.

 

Thinking metal glued into existing lower button... sounds similar to what you have done

 

There's one on eBay somewhere

 

Iv recently sold the complete auto kit out my bus as changed to manual but think I never sent the black piece fits on top of gear stick if this helps

That's like mine, button on the side. Think they want one with button underneath.

 

Wow... not cheap! Afraid it's the wrong button (on the side when mine is underneath) thanks again though... my ebay searching needs some work! Cheers
