1971 Beetle

We have 1971 Beetle, which has been not mot'd for 18 months but was a daily runner prior to that.

Bodywork is ok with the usual few rusty parts under the paint.

The Beetle cost me £1,000 12 months ago.

Any offers or interest ?

Our beetle is now up for sale on eBay, so putting it on here too.

Just spent £500 getting it thro the mot, some welding, new tyre, new heater channels, new points, new distributor cap, new air vent hoses, new single port exhaust, new chrome exhaust pipes.

Both front seats have tears in them but are taped up.

Engine strong and runs well.

97'000 miles on the clock.

Structurally and mechanically sound but ideally needs some cosmetic body attention and a respray to make really good.

£1,500 wanted.

I will put some potos up tomorrow.
