I got a woodrim steering wheel with boss from vanwurks for Christmas and went to fit it today but the boss doesn't fit!! The drilled out part doesn't seem to be deep enough and as such the brass contact doesn't meet the horn brass contact on the column. I ordered a 74-79 version as the next was 79-90 which will clearly be wrong. Any advice while I wait for them to get back to me?

I went and had a look at it for him and it needs to drop about half inch but won't because the drilled out 'shoulder' isn't deep enough. For what it cost for the wheel and boss I'm very surprised that it doesn't fit. I thought Vanwurks were quite reputable. He is going to contact them tomorrow and see what their response is.
