the dizzy drive will slot in wherever the dizzy drive is at the moment....rotate the dizzy body so the vacuum can clears the tin ware...doesn't matter where.....look at the rotor arm in relation to the dizzy cap... If you've established TDC on no.1 cylinder (firing), whichever electrode on the dizzy cap the rotor arm is (more or less) pointing towards will then become no.1 Remember that stock dizzy is timed at 27-30 degrees BTDC at around 3.5K RPM with the vac line disconnected/plugged, so you'll need a timing light.
