I maybe interested in the heat exchangers if they are original ones with lots of fins inside and maybe the thermostat

 

Front engine bay tin ware - very good condition. No damage or rot. Air feed holes were blocked but easy to return unblock. I need to clean it up so it can be seen just how good this one is but for now here's a quick pic



As the engine sits ATM with no internals

 

I shall check tomorrow eve and get some better photos for you. I did notice that they will need abit of work but a photo speaks a thousand words so they say

Bugpack "tuck-away" exhaust

Another set of pistons and liners, approx 600 miles of use



Crankshaft and bits







Balanced Conrods



Rocker arms

 

Flywheel



Kadron/solex 40mm single carbs with fuel rail and linkage. Also filters but they ideally need replacing



Camshaft, slight chipping to teeth as can been seen in photo but this was checked and won't be an issue



And finally some std black "ratty" rocker covers



I have a basic idea of what I would like to see in return for the parts but I am open to offers on everything. I may even rebuild it and sell it complete if it comes to it as I am in now rush to sell

 

I might be interested in the engine internals and block do you know if it needs work to the block and would you put on a pallet if i arranged a courier

 

Is the thermostat working? If so, and if no one else has dibs, how much posted?

The engine case is spot on and ready to be rebuilt. It just needs new bearing shells for the main journals, big ends and cam

 

I have to be honest and say I'm not sure as the engine was partially stripped an in the back of my van when I bought it. MSG me and offer

Here's a test for the thermostat, it's fairly simple but should indicate whether they work or not...

Could you take a pic down the ends of the heat exchangers please if there the original style ones with loads of fins inside then id be interested in them

Id also like to tag my interest in the cylinder heads but i wont know untill this evening if i can afford them or not
I take it there not cracked or have been helicoiled in the plug holes?
