Afternoon Ladies and Gents... I'm after an engine for my bay, I've got about £500 to spend so I'm not looking for anything fancy. Ideally we're talking about compression over about 100PSI and not mental end float. I've had a scout around in the shed and found a distributor, exhaust system, carb, fuel pump... missing some tinware and a dynamo though so it'd need that, or be priced accordingly. Located in Worcester, could travel to Bristol, Telford, Oxford, that sort of circle. Cheers all Si
Second one is yep, nice- but although it's not necessarily a deal-breaker, I'm not a fan of the 1641. It's just me being strange, but I always associate them with "wanna go fast, don't wanna spend much money" which puts me off a bit. Also, fair bit over my budget, I've got beer to buy too you know! ;-) First one- closer, but it's too far away to really go and check it out, and I'm really nervous about buying unseen/felt/lovingly caressed. Much more my sort of thing though...I'll confess to being tempted.
