1200 miles through france

IMG_7598.PNG IMG_7596.PNG IMG_7597.PNG Just to say hi,we fixed up a 71 converted van on our drive that we bought from a lady in Brighton who owned it for 20 years,and have just done a trip through france and got to say it was ace,nice steady 50mph covered over 1200 miles.weather was lush ,roads were lush and thank god for sat nav sally.so we have bought another one to fix and sell.the response we got as we drove through france was amazing all sorts of people beeping waving and taking photos ,love it

  3. Glad to hear your first trip was a great success, I love the smaller roads in France at a steady 50 mph, we experienced the same phenomenon as you, last week in Port st. Louis, Brittany, when we returned to our bus in the public car park and found it being photographed from all angles, by an elderly couple.
    They were so pleased when I opened her up and they got some interior shots.
    During the check in at Roscoff port, I had the whole of the security people admiring my engine!
    It makes all the money spent on the resto. seem worthwhile.
